FieldCalc is an HVAC field calculator app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, why, and how it is used.

Data We Collect

Advertising Identifier (IDFA)

If you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, we collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). This is used by Google AdMob to show you personalized ads. If you decline, non-personalized ads are shown instead.

Usage Analytics

We collect anonymous usage data (screens visited, features used) via Google Firebase Analytics. This data cannot be linked to you personally and is used only to improve the app.

No Account Required

FieldCalc does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.

Third-Party Services

FieldCalc uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob Displays ads within the app. May use IDFA for ad personalization (only if you grant ATT permission). → https://policies.google.com/privacy

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with the third-party services listed above, as necessary to operate the app.

Your Choices

• Ad Tracking: You can change your ATT permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → FieldCalc
• Analytics: Anonymous analytics cannot be individually opted out, as no personal data is linked to it.

Children

FieldCalc is intended for HVAC and refrigeration professionals. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
